2021 MIGRANTS WORKER DAY CELEBRATION

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration in the Cordillera Administrative Region (OWWA-CAR) puts up a simple celebration of the 26th Migrants Workers Day since the institutionalization of Republic Act 8024- Migrant Workers Act of 1995.
OWWA is able to pull off a pre -Migrants Day celebration at Baguio City Multi-Purpose Hall on July 5th headed by OWWA-CAR Regional Director Manuela N. Peña with the presence of Baguio City Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan and Councilor Lilia Fariñas who awarded 26 beneficiaries of various programs from OWWA such as Livelihood Assistance and Educational Assistance.
