IP elders perform a cultural ritual for thanksgiving during the National Indigenous Peoples Month Thanksgiving and the 20th Indigenous Peoples Rights Act celebration at the PFVR gymnasium in Baguio City on October 31,2017. A tribute was also paid to the Cordilleran troops and fallen heroes in Marawi. This year’s theme is “IPRA at 20, empowering Indigenous Peoples through the years.”
