3 NPA Auxilliaries Lose Love For Rebel Movement

BAGUIO CITY (February 14, 2020) — Love lost to the communist rebel movement, three more members of the NPA auxiliary force “Militia ng Bayan” surrendered in Cagayan Valley Region.
Cagayan Valley region police director Brig. Gen. Angelito Casimiro said “Ben” (not his real name), 61, married, farmer, and a resident of sitio Udiao, Brgy. Daragutan West, San Mariano, Isabela; and Danny (not his real name), 64, married, also a farmer, from Purok 5, Brgy. Daragutan West, San Mariano, Isabela, who are both members of Sangay ng Partido sa Lokalidad (SPL)/Militia ng Bayan (MB); and Zeny (not her real name), 48, farmer, also a Militia ng Bayan, from Brgy. Balanni, Sto. Niño, Cagayan turned themselves in to government forces on Thursday.
“Ben” surrendered improvised pistol single shot intended for cal. 5.56 without serial number, 3 live ammo of 5.56, 2 IEDs and rebel documents while Danny surrendered a homemade shotgun with magazine, 6 rounds of 12 gauge live ammunition and rebel documents too.
Casimiro said the surrender of the trio was a result “of a sincere and continuous conduct of series of barangay visitation programs and community relations activities in support with the implementation of Executive Order Number 7O in all Barangays within AOR.”
Casimiro encouraged the remaining members of the MB and all rebels in Cagayan Valley “to surrender and take advantage of the E-CLIP program and live a normal life with their love ones.”
