33rd Cordillera day celebration

Santos Mero, secretary general of the Cordillera Peoples Alliance (left), disclose that the upcoming 33rd Cordillera Day will be held in Balbalan, Kalinga on April 23 to 27, 2017. Some delegates will come from the indigenous people from Taiwan, Japan, and Cambodia and from various IPs in Northern Luzon. The celebration will focus on the commemoration of the heroism of tribal people who fought for freedom in the Cordillera, like the commemoration of Macliing Dulag of Kalinga.
