38TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF WORLD CRAFTS COUNCIL

The City Government of Baguio represented by Mayor Benjamin Magalong together with Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan and members of the Baguio City Council congratulated and commends Ms. Lydia Langpawen of Narda’s Handwoven Arts and Crafts for winning the World Crafts Council Asia-Pacific Region Competition of excellent crafts during the 38th General Assembly of World Crafts Council (WCC) held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
She was awarded the winner and received a certificate and a plaque of recognition for her winning tapestry creation. Her feat is another testimony of Baguio City’s status as the country’s first UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folks Arts.
