2019 is indeed a lucky year for our lotto clients, according to Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Alexander Balutan as he announced three new millionaires totaling to five millionaires in a span of six days.
“Katatapos ng Chinese New Year nung February 5. Meron na naman tayong limang bagong milyonaryo sa pagitan ng anim na araw,” Balutan quipped.
Last January, there were nine lotto jackpot winners.
Balutan said the latest winner bought the ticket in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental, who guessed the winning combination of 12-21-03-05-15-20 hitting the jackpot prize of P5,940,000 of the Lotto 6/42 draw, Saturday night, February 9, 2019.
On February 8, another winner hit the jackpot prize of P8,910,000, with the ticket having the winning combination of 30-16-25-26-31-10 in the Mega Lotto 6/45. The winning ticket in Borongan, Eastern Samar, the same area where one of the winning tickets, was bought last year in the P 1.1B Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot.
On February 7, another winner was announced for Lotto 6/42, the winning ticket with the combination of 14-23-18-27-07-40 bagged the jackpot price of P18,836,826. The ticket was purchased in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
On February 4, two winners got the winning combinations of 23-12-05-06-17-29. They will be dividing equally the jackpot price of P13,301,011 of the Mega Lotto 6/45. The tickets were purchased in Talon 5, Las Piñas City and Los Baños, Laguna.
The chances of winning in the lotto draws are one in 5,245,786 for Lotto 6/42; one in 8,145,060 for Mega Lotto 6/45; one in 13,983,816 for Super Lotto 6/49; one in 28,989,675 for Grand Lotto 6/55; and 1 in 40,475,358 for Ultra Lotto 6/58.
