ABOITIZ FOUNDATION SENDS AID TO COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY ABRA EARTHQUAKE

Aboitiz Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Aboitiz Group, and Aboitiz Power ’s subsidiary
Hedcor, Inc. donated fuel and water filters in areas affected by the 7.0–magnitude earthquake that hit Northern Luzon last July 27, 2022. A total of 1,150 liters of fuel were distributed to the municipalities of Bauko and Sabangan, Mountain Province, and the municipalities of Bakun, Sablan, and Tuba in Benguet, areas heavily affected by
landslides.

The fuel donation will help in clearing the landslides caused by the earthquake. “The Aboitiz Foundation
has been advocating disaster resilience for the past years. We’ve developed strategic systems and partnerships so we
can immediately respond to disasters like this. We are glad that our friends from the Philippine Disaster Resilience
Foundation (PDRF) were able to help us extend immediate help to affected areas in Abra. We also commend Hedcor for their immediate response in providing needed assistance in Benguet and the Mt. Province,” said Maribeth L. Marasigan, Aboitiz Foundation, President and COO.
