ALS provides opportunity

Alternative Learning System provides opportunity to all individual who wanted to acquire knowledge and skills to qualify them for local and international employment. Some are students awaiting the opening of classes in private schools on August. Some enrolled because it is a cheaper way to avail of the requirement before taking the NC2 examination offered by TESDA. ALS requires an enrollee to complete 120 hours before they are given certificate of completion. Camp 7 Elementary School encourages skills trainings for parents and interested individuals for future extra income. Practicums are conducted in the school, so needs for repairs are addressed. Welding was conducted last school year to repair the catwalks and railings. Installation of electrical outlets and rewiring were done by the trainees with the close supervision of the active trainer. More trainings are planned this school year to support the DepEd trust on education for all. TEODORA B. BOTIS
