Aspen Medical – UAE supports Councilor Allad-iw’s relief to PWD

BAGUIO CITY – The Aspen Medical of the United Arab Emirates is the new sponsor of Councilor Arthur Allad-iw’s relief program to the person with disabilities in the City of Baguio.

One hundred households of blind and their families who were displaced from their jobs, like the masseurs and folk singers; 30 deaf;  and 20 bedridden were identified by Councilor Allad-iw as the beneficiaries of the latest program. The food packs containing rice and goods, courtesy of Aspen Medical – UAE, and fresh highland vegetables, courtesy of the Local Government Unit of La Trinidad through Mayor Romeo Salada and Vice Mayor Roderick Awingan, were delivered to the homes of the beneficiaries.

The distributions were done on August 29 and September 4 by the volunteers of Councilor Allad-iw and his volunteers.

Gemaryle Tedson Magtalas, an employee of Aspen Medical – UAE, said that they support worldwide programs for various nationalities affected by the COVID 19 Pandemic.  He coordinated their program together with nurse Red Cloud Capuyan, one of their UAE staff from the Baguio City, who made the project proposal “lending a hand to the Baguio blind and deaf.” It was approved by their office and were realized after series of communications from both parties.
