Assassins Gun Down Heavy Equipment Operator In Abra

BAGUIO CITY(June 6, 2021)— Assassins riding on tandem gunned down a pay loader operator Saturday afternoon in Barangay Mudeng, La Paz, Abra.
Rommel Britos, 41, native of Barangay Dugong, Bucay town, was heading home aboard a motorcycle when motorcycle-riding assassins came from behind and pumped at least three bullets unto him at close range.
The suspects casually fled the crime scene after the pay loader operator fell on the ground.
The incident was captured by a CCTV camera installed in the area.
The victim was rushed to the hospital by Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC)-La Paz personnel but died before reaching it.
Like past killings, the Abra police is groping for the identification of the suspects and the motive behind the killing.
