Baguio’s Blockbuster Family Resto Owner Succumbs To Covid19

BAGUIO CITY (May 13, 2021) – The man who started the famous restaurant “Goodtaste” in Baguio City over three decades ago, succumbed to Covid 19-related complications Wednesday (May 12, 2021).
Alfredo P. Go, 65, best remembered as a jolly and generous friend and good boss to his restaurant crew, built Good Taste, a by-word in the resto world in Baguio, Benguet and perhaps throughout the rest of Northern Luzon, including tourists, has two buildings in Baguio’s Central Business District.
After its phenomenal success with Go’s first resto and building at the old Dangwa Terminal area along Jacinto St., “Good Taste” also built its poultry and hog farms to supply its needs for fresh pork, chicken and other ingredients of its famous authentic Chinese dishes.
Residents and tourists alike frequent Good Taste restaurant because of their large family servings, sometimes dubbed as “Igorot servings”.
In November last year, Good Taste, that had showed major successes in large gatherings, recorded a cluster of infections, forcing its temporary 15-day shut down for safety and health.
