The Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 1 in collaboration with the 505th Search and Rescue Group continue to conduct the fire suppression in Dalupirip, Itogon in Benguet thru the use of Bambi buckets or airlifting water from the Agno River and dropping at the affected areas. The fire suppression operations is being conducted by the Office of the Civil Defense – Cordillera, Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Council, Benguet Provincial DRRMC, Itogon municipal DRRMC and the Bureau of Fire Protection. An estimated 20 hectares of forest land have been damage by the most recent forest fire incident in Itogon.
