BCBC OATH TAKING

Kalinga Cong. Allen Jesse Mangaoang appealed to the members of the BCBC and all the journalists to practice ethical journalism by maintaining reliability and credibility. He said that journalists should be source of accurate and reliable news and information of the public who should prevent
the propagation of fake news and discrimination. Cong.

Mangaoang who served as the guest of honor and speaker, administered the oath to the new officers of the BCBC in the oath taking and turn over ceremony hosted by the Philippine Veterans Bank. Outgoing BCBC President Aldwin Quitasol of the Daily Tribune who was dubbed as the “pandemic president” had a ceremonial turnover of leadership and responsibility to incoming President Joseph Cabanas of DZEQ Radyo Pilipinas – Baguio.

The other BCBC officers include Vice President for Print Dexter See of the Public Information Office of the City Government of Baguio and Baguio Herald Express, Vice President for Radio Denver Bastingo of MPBC DZWT, Secretary Jessa Mardy Samidan also of the Baguio City PIO, Treasurer Dionisio Dennis of the MPBC DZWT, Auditor Ofelia Empian of the Baguio Midland Courier. BCBC past presidents Roderick Osis of the Score-Cordillera and Miguelito Velarde of Z-Radio also will seat as Business Managers while Board of Directors include Jordan Tablac of Bombo Radyo Baguio, Joseph Manzano of RPN DZBS, Primo Agaptep of Amianan Balita Ngayon and immediate past president Aldwin Quitasol.
