The Baguio Police celebrated their 28th Police Community Relations Month headed by their Regional Director BBGEN David Peredo Jr celebrating with the theme of “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa para sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan”, which they held yearly in the month of July to bring the
services of the national police to the citizen on June 24, 2023. “For the past years and months, there have been several sponsored special projects and medical missions to enhance and be in support of what our kailyans need not only in far-flung areas but also here in metro Baguio.
I am glad that with the help of the different stakeholders, we are having more projects and activities to inaugurate and offer to our kailyans.” PBGEN PEREDO JR. added The community outreach
activity was conducted by PROCOR as part of the celebration of the Community Relations Month Celebration and in line with the five-focus agenda of the Chief PNP, focusing on maintaining
community relations throughout the region and maintaining strong relationships of mutual trust
between PROCOR, stakeholders, and the communities.
The police distributed food packs to the senior citizens who attended the said events. The program also incorporate informing the citizens to register their sim card in accordance to the implementation of the sim card registration act or RA11934. They also provided assistance for those who’s in need of police clearance for legal purposes, and free medical health care services to the
citizens. The Baguio Police once again proved that they are just more than a public servant and that they will always be reliable as a part of their slogan which is, “To serve and protect the people”.
