BCPO ensures safety of Panagbenga grand parades

The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) assured the security and safety of visitors and tourists coming to the city for the Panagbenga Grand Street and Float Parades on February 24 and 25, 2018.
According to PSupt. Armando P. Gapuz, chief of Police Community Relations Unit (PCRU), the BCPO has tapped 260 policemen to be deployed on the day of the parade along Panagbenga Park, Session Road, Harrison Road and Baguio Athletic Bowl.
He added that there are other enforcement and volunteer groups like the emergency medical services and NSTP students from different universities in the city who will also help in keeping the peace and order during the festivities.
Gapuz said that their objective is to have a peaceful and orderly Panagbenga festival this year and to ensure the protection and safety of the residents as well as the visitors. MICHAEL MARTINEZ, UB INTERN
