BCPO extends help to indigent pupils

Baguio City police officers headed by Police Senior Superintendent Ramil Ladyong Saculles extended help to 20 indigent pupils of Pinget Elementary School on August 7, 2017. The group handed an amount of P10,000 for the PTA Agreed School Fees and school materials of the pupils.
Saculles also encouraged the parents to be responsible in rearing their children. For the pupils, he advised them to do their part as a child and a pupil and never to taste illegal drugs.
This activity is part of the Adopt-A-Child program of the school which is based on the principle of volunteerism. It aims to create partnerships with private individuals in order to generate funds for the school materials and PTA agreed school fees of the indigent pupils who entirely need support for them to continue with their studies. This is also the school’s way of eliminating drop-outs because of poverty. Jessie P. Sinakay and Dominga P. Gravidez-Pinget Elementary School / PR
