BCPO REASSIGNS PERSONNEL WITH KIN RUNNING IN BSKE

BAGUIO CITY

Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) will temporarily reassign personnel with relatives running for elective posts outside their areas of responsibility until the end of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on October 30, 2023. Based on the initial survey of the BCPO-City
Administrative Resource Management Unit (CARMU), there were five personnel identified with family members and other relatives up to the 4th degree of consanguinity vying for elective posts.

The final number of BAGUIO’s FINEST to be temporarily reassigned will be known after the filing of certificates of candidacy (COC) from August 28 to September 2, 2023. All personnel have already
been informed and are prepared for their possible transfer and adjustment of assignments on
the days leading to the election.

Early security measures have already been set to achieve zero violence and sustain Baguio City in the green category. BAGUIO’s FINEST encourages the public to report electoral candidates receiving any form of assistance from our personnel that would give them an advantage in the election.
