BENGUET HONORS PUBLIC SERVANTS

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet- The dedication and commitment of dozens of provincial workers were recently recognized, marking the 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.
The anniversary with its theme “Transforming Public Service In The Next Decade: Honing Agile And Future-Ready Servant-Heroes” also highlighted the province’ founding celebration. The honorees served the people, ranging from 15 years to 42 years of public service.
Governor Melchor Diclas, Vice Governor Johnny Waguis and members of Provincial Board led the emotion-filled presentation of awards and recognition to the honorees.
Diclas expressed his gratitude to the countless sacrifices of the honorees even as he rallied his fellow government servants to sustain the
development of human resource.
Waguis, who also recognized the awardees’ countless contributions, called on his fellow government workers to transform weaknesses into strength amid the challenges of times like the present pandemic.
