Benguet marks 118th founding anniversary, celebrates 13th Adivay Festival

Benguet Governor Crescencio Pacalso (middle) announces the various activities of the month-long festival during a special “Kapihan” held Monday (Nov.5) at the provincial capitol. First staged in 2005, this year’s festival with its theme ” Benguet Culture-Unity, Industry, Prosperity: Managing, Adversities with Excellence thru Enhanced Indigenous Resilience” features the rich history, tradition, arts, culture, sports, music, trades and industries. An Agri-Tourism Fair, Land and Small-Scale Mining summits will also higlight the celebration.
