The city government of Baguio highly commended the Baguio City Jail Male Dormitory headed by City Jail Warden JSupt April Rose Ayangwa for being awarded as the Best National City Jail of the Year 2024 during the 33rd BJMP Anniversary Celebration was held last July 1, 2024 at the Terrence Hall, AFP Compound, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. Mayor Benjamin Magalong with Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan and city council members awarded the framed resolution Numbered 449 (Series of 2024) during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Baguio City Hall grounds.
