Health workers of the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center and the Department of Health-Cordillera received their COVID-19 third dose or the bivalent vaccine during the ceremonial launching and roll out for healthcare workers and senior citizens at the BGHMC Garden on Monday, June 26, 2023.

BGHMC Medical Chief Dr. Ricardo Runez Jr. and Public Health Unit Head Dr. Leamor Fangonilo with DOH-CAR officials and staff led by and Baguio City Health Services Office OIC Dr. Celiaflor Brillantes witnessed the ceremonial vaccination of four health workers from the BGHMC and the DOH-CAR.

Among the health workers who were given the 3rd dose were BGHMC Department of Pediatrics Chair Dr. Elaine Corpus, BGHMC Department of Family and Community Medicine Training Officer Dr. Haydee Danganan, DOH-CAR Medical Officer IV Dr. Shelly Aral and DOH-CAR National Immunization Program Coordinator Joyce Rillorta.
