BWD GM SINKS 1ST ACE AT PINEWOODS

Baguio Water District general manager Salvador Royeca made his very first hole in one Sunday at the Pinewoods Golf and Country Club. He joined nearly 300 golfers mostly Cordillerans in the inaugural Cordillera Golfers Foundation Inc. Invitational Tournament that started Thursday at said
club and Camp John Hay golf course. The BWD top man made the feat at the par 3, 120 yard hole number 6.

A day after named as one of the outstanding alumni awardees from the University of the Cordilleras, Royeca made the rare feat using a Taylormade Iron 9 and a Titleist 6 ball. He was in the company of four that included Alex Mendoza, Ed Basbas and Jeff Acop. Royeca has been at the
helm of the BWD where he implemented high impact projects like the repiping of the district’s age old pipes and the construction of a water collecting facility at the Busol watershed.
