BAGUIO CITY (February 25, 2021) –  A 40 year old policewoman,  a Master Sergeant, assigned at the Lasam town police station in Cagayan province remains missing five days after her sister alerted colleagues of her disappearance.
The Lasam town police indicated in its “flash alarm” that 40 year old Jovelyn Pagaduan Camangeg, a resident of Centro 2, also in Lasam town, left home at around 5AM on February 18, purportedly bound for Tuguegarao City, Cagayan’s capital, to get a loan and pick-up her slimming coffee orders which she is supposed to deliver to Solana town.
The policewoman’s sister Jemma Camangeg, 49, who lives with her told police that her sister never returned home when she left for Tuguegarao City prompting her to seek her colleagues at the Lasam police station on February 20.
Cagayan Valley police director Brig. Gen. Crizaldo Nieves had ordered a thorough investigation on the disappearance of the policewoman, whom accordingly underwent a virtual seminar on Integrated Transformation Program (ITP) from February 11-17 2021 thru Zoom.
The policewoman’s sister told police that incessant tries to contact her through her cellular phone had remained futile.  The phone reportedly is out of coverage.
According to the Lasam police, the policewoman was on board on her orange Toyota Wigo with plate number BA 1788 and was wearing maong pants and olive green shirt with PULIS marking.
