Cannabis being Implemented

Cannabis or mostly known as “Marijuana” has been chronic in the widespread society. This plant is very recognizable especially in the western part of the world. In one of the research said that more than half of the U.S. states have legalized medical marijuana in some form, and more are considering bills to do the same.Yet while many people are using marijuana, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has only approved it for treatment of two rare and severe forms of epilepsy, Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.In our country, the Philippines House Bill No. 180 of the House of Representatives under stated that the thousands of patients suffering from serious and debilitating diseases will benefit from legalizing the medical use of cannabis.Though, the said bill is still under observation in legalizing.
An opinionated talk about the Marijuana Medicinal plant, looking forward to the CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region). The Municipal Mayor from La Trinidad, Benguet, Hon. Romeo K. Salda gave his utterance about the issue, “The medicinal plant is good in abroad and overseas because they are very strict when it comes to implementing the use of Marijuana as a medicinal plant.” Having his opinion, he will agree if the argument was about to legalized most especially here in Benguet depending on the result from the higher offices if it is needed only, because the “Anti- Drug Campaign” was being implemented in La Trinidad.
Additionally, Atty. Miller Quintin Jr., Municipal Administrator and Nurse by profession presume about using Cannabis that as long as the law on “Dangerous Drugs” is not amended and not hoping to locally allow the use of Marijuana for the medicinal purposes. And, are also able to convince the law makers of the benefit of it to prioritize what really is the purpose using Cannabis as medicinal plant.
In general, it is a welcome development and an endemic in Benguet place added by the Municipal Councilor- Committee on Tourism, Roderick Awingan. Until the bill is not yet done, his answer in legalizing the Marijuana as medicinal plant in Benguet is depending on the regulation that still is pending, for it has different benefit on who are qualified to use, who will get the product, who are the farmers needed, and also, it would gave the farmers an additional income.
Lastly, Senior Agriculturist Nida Organogo with the statement of Miss Universe Catriona Gray, “I’m for it being used in a medical use, but not so for recreational use.” She followed her answer with a clarification: “But I think if people were to argue, ‘What about alcohol and cigarettes?’ Well, everything is good but in moderation.”
