La Union tourist arrivals up by 54.25 % in first semester

La Union has registered 472,891 tourist arrivals from January to June 2018 compared to 243,042 of the same period in 2017. This reflects a growth of 54.25%. Dagupan City running low on anti-lepto drug

DAGUPAN CITY – The City Health Office (CHO) here has appealed to higher health authorities to replenish its supply of Doxycycline, an antibiotic used against leptospirosis. City health officer Dr. Ophelia Rivera said in an interview Tuesday that the CHO only has 50 boxes or 5,000 capsules of Doxycycline remaining.
