CAYETANO VOWS SUPPORT TO PROVINCIAL JOURNOS DURING NAGUIO MEDIA SENATE TOUR

Newly returned to Senate Alan Peter Cayetano sees provincial media as equally important to delivering the news to Big City journos during a meet up at the Upper Chamber of Congress in Pasay City this week. “I invited Zamboanga
media to visit at the Senate recently and now Baguio journalists,” said Cayetano after dinner which he hosted at District One at the posh Bonifacio Global City Thursday night. “In the United States, the local media deliver the news
and it is just syndicated,” he added as he bid good night to the Baguio media with his wife Taguig mayor Lani Cayetano.

Newly elected Baguio Correspondents and Broadcasters Club president Thomas Antonio Picana thanked the senator and his mayor wife for the warmth hospitality they received during the two day stay. “In behalf of my colleagues I want to thank you senator and your mayor wife (Lani) for the warm hospitality,” as the Amianan Balita Ngayon
publisher and editor in chief vowed that he will work to deliver the news as fair as possible. He also assured that his
colleagues, that included outgoing president Joseph Cabanas and 16 others will just do the same.

The two day Senate sojourn included visit at the Senate where Baguio media met with senators that included pictorials with senators Ronald dela Rosa, Jinggoy Estrada, Robinhood Padlla, Bong Go, Bong Revilla and the Cayetano’s sister Pia. On Friday, the media get to see how the Business Permit and Licensing Office of Taguig City
at the SM Aura operate and how the office process permits in just five days. “We aim to make it two days and eventually in 45 minutes,” said BPL Officer Atty. Tess Veloso, as her department operates at the ninth and 10th
