Winners in the city’s top three positions have been proclaimed after posting huge leads in the number of votes: Congressman-elect Marquez Go garnered a total of 91,600 votes; Mayor-elect Benjamin Magalong, 64,665 votes and Vice Mayor-elect Faustino Olowan, 60,885 votes.
LA TRINIDAD PROCLAMATION: The Municipal Board of Canvassers chaired by Election Officer Atty. Romeo Aguilar proclaims the winning candidates in La Trinidad with Mayor Romeo Salda and Vice Mayor Roderick Awingan.
NEWLY ELECTED LA UNION OFFICIALS: After completing the provincial canvassing, local officials in the Province of La Union including District Representatives pledged outstanding service as they were officially proclaimed on May 10, 2022, at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
With the proclamation of the new set of officials who will serve the province for another chapter of excellent public service, the Provincial Government of La Union is looking forward to a continuous upholding of integrity and good governance that will lead to a #StrongerLaUnion, a province worth living in.
