CITY APPROVES MORE BARANGAY, SK BUDGET FOR 2024

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified separate city council measures granting favorable review of several barangay budgets for fiscal year 2024 pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.
Resolution no. 466, series of 2024, grants favorable review to the budget of Middle Rock Quarry barangay and
resolution no. 468, series of 2024, does the same for those of Asin Road, West Quirino Hill and Kayang Hilltop barangays.

On the other hand, resolution no. 481, series of 2024, grants favorable review to the budgets of Marcoville, East
Modern Site, Fairview and A.I. Tech to help solve crimes in Baguio City Proposed Quezon Hill Proper barangays; while resolution no. 482, series of 2024, does the same for the budget of South Central Aurora Hill barangay. The City Budget Officer forwarded for review of the august body the said preliminary reviewed annual and supplemental barangay budgets for this year.

In separate endorsements, the local legislature’s committee on barangay affairs recommended favorable review of the barangay budgets. The resolutions direct the return of the said barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. Meanwhile, the Mayor also signed resolution no. 473, series of 2024, granting favorable review of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) budgets of Guisad Central and Gabriela Silang barangays while resolution no. 488, series of 2024, does the same for the SK budgets of South Drive and Salud Mitra barangays.
