Cordillera cops nab 2 high value individuals

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Two High Value Individuals (HVI), a minor and three other drug pushers were captured in a series of drug operation, where exactly Php 1.8 million worth of marijuana were seized.
Arrested HVI and a member of the CPLA identified as Jovielyn Paclay Bayog, 33, and a resident of Luccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga was captured in a buy-bust operation after she sold bricks of dried marijuana to the poseur buyer in Baligatan,Purok 3, Bulanao Norte, Tabuk City, Kalinga in the morning of July 24, 2020.
The operation led to the seizure and confiscation of 15 bricks of suspected dried marijuana leaves and stalk with a dangerous drug board value of 1.8 million worth, Php 1,000.00 cash money, Php 7,500.00 buy bust money, and a samsung keypad cellphone.
Another HVI identified as James Bagni, was nabbed in Sitio Dantay, Alab Oriente, Bontoc, Mt. Province on July 23, 2020 during the implementation of Search Warrant that led in the confiscation and seizure of two (2) sachet of suspected shabu in his possession.
Four more individuals were caught in a buy-bust operation after they sold sachets of suspected shabu to operatives who acted as pursuer buyer.
Latest arrest, Laurence Ralph S. Erise a.k.a. Renren, 21, was apprehended along Zapote Road, Laya East, Tabuk City, Kalinga in the afternoon of July 29, and confiscated five (5) sachets of suspected shabu and Php1,000.00 buy bust money.
In the past week, Aka “Simpleman”, a 17-year-old minor who is a resident of Km 6, Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet was taken into custody after he was caught in Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet in the afternoon of July 20. Taken from his possession were one (1) plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu”; P1,000.00 buy-bust money; and one (1) OPPO touchscreen cellular phone.
The next day, July 21, Martin Cadap Bataclao a.k.a. “Martin”, 29, a resident of Lower Magsaysay, Baguio City was apprehended at Balite, Longlong-Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet while Rizalino L. Inway was caught in Loo, Buguias, Benguet the following day July 23. Evidence seized from Bataclao were three (3) plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, keypad Samsung cellular phone and Php1,000.00 buy-bust money while two (2) plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; drug paraphernlia; keypad Samsung cellular phone; and Php1,000.00 buy-bust money was seized from Inway.
Cases for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against all the suspects.
