COUNCIL HAILS 10 OUTSTANDING PUNONG BARANGAYS

City officials recently congratulated and commended the ten punong barangay awardees for the Rotary Club of Metro Baguio 31st awarding of Outstanding Punong Barangays for 2023- 2024. The top ten Outstanding Punong Barangays in the city were AZCKO punong barangay Jefferson Cheng, BurnhamLegarda punong barangay Teodoro C. Castro, Gibraltar punong barangay Nemesio Huag, Lower Lourdes Subdivision punong barangay Florante R. Sapitula, Lourdes Subdivision Extension punong barangay Jeffrey P. Timmango, MrR Queen of Peace punong
barangay Raul S. Caronongan, Pal-Urbano punong barangay Florida T. Gacayan, San Antonio Village punong barangay Nicanor N. Nialla, Trancoville punong barangay William B. Regacho and Upper Rock Quarry punong barangay Joey P. David.

The Rotary Club of Metro Baguio conducts an annual awarding program to recognize and honor outstanding punong barangays for their exemplary leadership, community development initiatives, and service to their respective constituents. For this year, the Rotary Club of Metro Baguio held its 31st awarding of Outstanding Punong Barangays for 2023- 2024, identifying ten deserving leaders from different barangays for their outstanding contributions to their respective communities. The council affirmed that the awardees have demonstrated dedication, commitment, and excellence in governance, creating a positive impact in their barangays and setting a high standard of public service. Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to the awardees and the Rotary Club of Metro Baguio for their information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action.
