Cousins, 4 and 12 dug up from Baguio landslide rubble

BAGUIO CITY (October 13, 2021) –  Cousins, four year old Thalia Caside Ocampo and twelve year old Judy Rose Tulipas were dug up dead at Wednesday morning from the mud and debris of the landslide that buried their home with their grandparents at the height of the typhoon Monday night along Marosan Alley in Mirador, here.
Baguio City police director Col. Glen Lonogan said the cousins were finally located at around 10:30 Wednesday morning.
Their lolo Alfredo Ocampo Jr., 49, was earlier found already dead beneath the rubble 11:50AM Tuesday.
Thus bringing death toll to 9 in the highland with the 3 Teligo siblings also buried alive at a landslide in Ambiong, La Trinidad, Benguet Monday; Cherrie Dillam Leo, 32, from Tuding, Itogon, Benguet; Colasa Tigwey, 80, in Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet; June Perez Balangen, 20, in Tacadang, Kibungan, Benguet).
Three: one in Abatan, Buguias, Benguet; one in Tuding, Itogon, also in Benguet and Ocampo Jr.’s wife in Dominican Mirador, Baguio City.
Twenty five year old Romy Balangen, from Tacadang, Kibungan, Benguet remains missing.
