COVID-19 mobile vaccination pagsisilbihan ang bed ridden patients sa Baguio

LUNGSOD NG BAGUIO – Inumpisahan ng Baguio City Health Office ang pagsasagawa ng COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination (MoVacc) upang pagsilbihan ang mgas enior citizen at mga ma comorbidities at hindi kayang pumunta sa vaccination sites para sa proteksiyon laban sa sakit na Coronavirus.
Itinalaga ng CHSO ang unang MoVacc Team nito noong Mayo 20 na nagbakuna sa 21 vulnerable members ng priority sectors sa ilalim ng A2 (senior citizens) at A3 (person with comorbidities) para sa kanilang first dose ng bakuna sa COVID-19 sa mga barangay na sakop ng Aurora Hill District health Center.
Ang MoVacc Team ay pinangunahan ni Assistant City Health Officer Dr. Celia Flor Brillantes bilang supervisor; Dr. Khecy Colas at Nurse Ricky Ducas bilang mga screeners; Nurse IV Agnes Abad at ang nurses ng District Health Center ang vaccinators habang ang Barangay Health Worker (BHW) bawat barangay ay nagsilbing post-vaccination monitoring.
Ginagamit ng team ang ambulansiya mula sa City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office o ambulansiya ng Baguio Country Club.
“To avail of the MoVacc services for bedridden and patients unable to physical line up for vaccination, guardians or family members must coordinate with their barangay health workers or in their District Health Centers for inclusion in the list,” paliwanag ni Nurse V Sonia Insas ng CHSO.
Sinabi ni Insas nab ago ang pagbabakuna, kailangang unang magparehistro ang mga pasyente sa online vaccine registration site bakuna.baguio.gov.ph upang mailaan ang supply ng bakuna mula sa Department of Health.
Sinusunod ng MoVacc ang parehong vaccination process flow na ipinapatupad sa main sites gaya ng: sinisiguro ang pre-registration, koordinasyon para sa schedule ng pagbabakuna, pagkuha
ng vital signs ar screening bago ang pagbabakuna.
Kung may emergency habang lumilibot ang MoVacc team sa distrito, tatawag ang BHW sa ambulanisya ng naka-duty.
“To make sure that the patients and their family members are safe from coronavirus, the MoVacc Team strictly follow the health precautionary measures such as wearing of face mask, face shield and personal protective equipment (PPE), observing physical distancing, disinfecting the area and reducing the time of stay in the area,” sabi ni Dr. Colas.
