Darkness and light

What are you scared of? Some people usually ask “What is your center?” But this time iKit let’s talk about the things you are scared of. I’m asking this because maybe it is the time of the year that we remember the loved ones we have lost along the way, the people who gave us inspiration, happiness, love, sadness, anger, bitterness, joy and etc.

There was a saying after all that “There are people who will come to help you and people who will give you a lesson,” people who ought to stay and those who simply go on their own way. Whatever it is, they have been a part of you as you had been a part of them. Don’t dare to forget that because they contributed to who and what you are right now.

However, if ever they have faulted you. Bear in mind that bitterness will keep you from flying so always stay humble and kind as what I’ve heard from a song. Let go, for there are three kinds of forgiveness. First forgive yourself of what you have done or think ill of others. Second, forgive the people who did you wrong. And third, ask forgiveness from our Creator. Don’t be afraid to move on and try new things. Explore, for the world is big enough for everyone. Do not rely on your books, traditions, and beliefs. The adventures are out there, not in your secluded room. Move on, for the days are counted and you cannot bring it back once it is done. Simply saying the three magical words “I Love You” with the special people around you is a must sometimes for you do not know when will be the last time you get to see that person.

Loved ones that pass away cannot hear you any longer even if you yell, cry to them in their grave, for what comes to dust will return to dust. It’s not a living thing anymore. Hello iKit! Hi Dang-at! These are the new trend of greeting for meeting someone at the Campo Santo on November 1 and 2 for sure. It has been a practice to do our “Dalaw” to the grave of our lost ones but since it is not necessary to visit it; we are after the gathering of the immediate family, relatives, and friends isn’t? To tell you the truth, it is better sometimes that we meet during weddings, birthdays, graduations, and christening rather than the death of someone, right? Well, make time on this kind of occasion; this is once in a lifetime opportunity.

Darkness and light, black and white, evil and good, pride and love. In the Bible (KJV) Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”. Put on the armour of God and surely he will not let you down. Sincerely yours, Tita Ara Katter. Noted: Ti panagkaykaysa, mangiwanwan iti naranyag nga pagsayaatan!”
