Avila personally assist the fire brigade respondents attending to stop the fire from spreading at the Maharlika Livelihood Building that occurred around 1.a.m. last July 16, 2024. It was the Baguio Water District who responded immediately at the scene followed by the Baguio Fire Department and other volunteers in the city. No one was reported hurt in the fire incident.
