FOOD DELIVERY RIDER BUSTED IN ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG OPS

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet – A High Value Individual (HVI) working as food delivery rider, was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by joint operatives of the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) and Benguet Police in the afternoon of April 2, 2021 at Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.
In a report from the Chief, RID PCOL ELMER E RAGAY, the suspect is identified as Christopher Lucea Rodriguez, 21 years old and a resident of Baguio City.
Rodriguez was arrested after selling a sachet of suspected shabu weighing about 0.5 gram with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 3,400.00 to the operative who acted as poseur buyer.
In the course of the arrest, the buy-bust money, a Vivo Touchscreen phone and Honda Motorcycle used in the transaction were recovered from the suspect. All confiscated pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried on-site in the presence of Prosecutor Andres Gondayao, DOJ representative and Kagawad Osburn Visaya of Barangay Puguis.
The suspect is currently held in custody of La Trinidad MPS for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
