Mayor-elect Benjie Magalong joins student volunteers at the Pine Trees of the World Park for a tree planting and clean up activity sometime in April 2019.

Trees are known to absorb carbon dioxide and potentially harmful gasses, such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and other pollutants from the air and release oxygen.

One large tree can provide a day’s supply of oxygen for four people.
