Foreign national arrested for rape and voyeurism

BAGUIO CITY – In a blotter report of the Baguio City Police Office Station 6, a case of an alleged Rape and Anti- Photo & Video Voyeurism Act was filed against two individuals, one of which was a foreign national.
The incident transpired at about 4:00 AM – 5:00 AM of October 13, 2019 at Ambiong, Baguio City against two(2) suspects, a certain “Noynoy”, 24 years old resident of Ambiong, Baguio City and a Saudi Arabian national, 26 years old and residing at said place of incident.
Initial investigation disclosed that the victim “Nette”(not her real name), 19 year’s old, a resident of East Bayan Park
together with her male friends were invited for a drinking spree at the house of the suspect.
Feeling intoxicated, the victim proceeded to a room to sleep where she was followed by two suspect who allegedly raped her.
Aside from raping her, the foreign national took photos and videos while in the process of molesting the victim using
his cellphone.
The male friends of the victim identified as Carlo Cuarteron and Joseph Dela Cruz heard the victim shouting for help inside the room who immediately went inside and rescued her.
The case of violation of RA 8353 or Rape and RA 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009 have been readied to be filed against the suspects for inquest proceeding as of these writing.
