Brigadier General Lou Evangelista, regional director, administered the oath of office of the 29 newly appointed and 25 newly promoted NonUniformed Personnel (NUP) of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1. Evangelista said, the NUP will be assigned to different police provincial offices (PPOs) and city/municipal police stations within Region 1. He highlighted one of the thrust of the PNP’s 7-point agenda, the Compassion for PNP Personnel.

“Compassion is the cornerstone of a thriving and resilient organization. It is the understanding and empathy we extend to one another, recognizing that each member of our team plays an important
role in our collective success. And, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the exemplary service that our nonuniformed personnel continue to provide,” Evangelista said.

He also stressed the importance of integrity and professionalism in rendering public safety services.
“Sa ating mga bagong appointed at promoted NUP, ang pagtanggap ng inyong mga responsibilidad ay may kasamang pangako, na kayo ay magsisilbing halimbawa ng isang public servant na may integridad, propesyonalismo, at pagmamahal sa bayan.” The successful NUP applicants have undergone series of examinations such as Comprehensive Examination, Neuro (Written and Oral), Medical, Dental, Drug Test, Skills Test, Qualifying Test and Final Interview.
