Soroptimist International Baguio adopted the park at Convention Center Loop last August 29, 2024 9AM and conducted tree planting of lemon trees led by President Elizabeth Balagtey Perez and as well cleaning the SI marker street island. The tree planting and “adopt a tree” for the biennium partnering with BJMP. August is a Soroptimist Week, by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 1072, signed on Aug. 28, 1997, by the late President Fidel V. Ramos. SI Baguio is the second to be chartered in June 30, 1966.
