In support to the programs of the National Government Agencies, Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David emphasized her commitment for an effective data gathering during the courtesy call of the
personnel of the Philippine Statistics Authority at the Office of the Provincial Governor, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. The visiting team led by their Supervising Statistical
Specialist Mr. Malvin Quinto coordinated to Gov. Rafy the conduct of 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries in La Union. Gov. Rafy then extended her support to the survey of the PSA as data gathering is an effective procedure in the implementation of government programs.

Gov. Rafy also welcomed visitors from the National Dairy Authority Northern Luzon led by their Department Manager Mr. Freddie Libatique. In line with the vision of the province to be the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025, the discussion focused on the implementation of cattle
programs in the province which is seen to boost livelihood opportunities to local farmers. As Gov. Rafy prioritizes infrastructures projects in the province, the lady Governor welcomed representatives of Laser’s Builder namely CEO Mr. Jose Benigno Francisco and Ms. Jackie Francisco, as they presented proposals for the PGLU. They were accompanied by Second District Board Member Ruperto Rillera Jr.
