Indigent cancer patients benefit from Rotary North golf

The Rotary Club of Baguio North will host a one day golf tournament at the Baguio Country Club on May 12.
The golf for a cause will benefit indigent cancer patients of the Baguio General Hospital, said Rotary North president Jonathan Vergara.
Play starts at 6 AM and the last tee is at 10 AM for the tournament which will have at least two divisions, men and women with the former having Class A, B, C and seniors, while there will be two classes in the distaff side.
Vergara said that the Modified PAL might be used for the higher male flights where a par scores two points, a three for a birdie and single point for a bogey. An even par at the par 61 course scores 36.
Class C and seniors as well as the women’s flights might utilize the Molave scoring system where a par scores three, for a birdie and two for a bogey or a 54 for an even par.
Ticket costs P1,800 for guests which is inclusive of green fee, meal, raffle and two mulligans. Members can avail of tickets that cost P1,200.
