JHMC Joins the Call to Activate COVID-19 Response through its Corporate Social Responsibility

Baguio City – Amid the novel coronavirus pandemic in the country, John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), donates 596 sacks of 25 kg rice.

400 sacks are given to the City Government of Baguio, 121 sacks are distributed to all its security and service providers, and 75 sacks to the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) of the 14 barangays surrounding the Camp John Hay Reservation Area including Camp 4, of Tuba, Benguet.

These 14 barangays include Camp 7, Loakan- Apugan, Country Club Village, Lower Dagsian, Upper Dagsian, Greenwater Village, Happy Hollow, Hillside, Loakan-Liwanag, Loakan Proper, Lucnab, Outlook Drive, Santa Escolastica, and Scout Barrio.

Due to the stringent implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, the daily operations and economic activities of communities in the city were curtailed. With these, JHMC has provided assistance and support to these communities through the initiative of its Board of Directors, led by Silvestre C. Afable, Jr., and its President and CEO, Allan Razon Garcia.

The said act of goodwill is inherent as JHMC is faithful in its mandate to be a socially responsible corporate entity.
