The favorite fast food of the masses, especially children, won the grand flower float parade of the 29th Panagbenga Festival, held at the Kapihan in Panagbenga, on February 26. The Baguio Flower Festival Foundation, Inc. (BFFI)
announced that the Jollibee Foods Corporation float won the large category, while famous grilled expert, the Mang
Inasal won the medium category and professional landscaper Zaparita’s Gardens came in third place in the small category. In 2024, Jollibee came in second in both large categories.McDonald’s was named 2nd place and the
Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) was named 3rd place, having also won the same award in 2024.
In the medium category, Zapartita’s Garden came in second and Chowking PH came in third. Mang Inasal proudly
displayed their float titled “Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines”, which pays homage to Cordillera tourism, featuring the world-famous Rice Terraces—a living testament to Filipino ingenuity—and the enchanting Butterfly
Sanctuary of Baguio, which symbolizes renewal and vibrant tourism. In the small category, Wood Rock and Flowers Group came in second; and Wilcon Depot came in third. According to BFFFI, they have increased the cash prize for this year’s float, from P500,000 for the large float to P700,000, and even the medium and small floats have additional prizes.
