Kalinga Sees Itself On Low Epidemic Risk

BAGUIO CITY (June 7, 2021)—The Kalinga Provincial Local Government Unit through its Provincial Health Office (PHO) claims it is now under low epidemic risk level based on records recently.
Based on the data of the PHO, only Rizal town is under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) because of its high risk code.   The capital of the province, Tabuk City, is classified under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) status.
Tinglayan and Pinukpuk towns are under minimal risk or new normal.
Kalinga is also under low risk level in terms of bed-capacity from 28% to 24%, based on May 30 to June 5 data.
Kalinga has still 97 active cases from the total 4, 638. The province recorded 4,483 recoveries and 68 Covid 19-related deaths.
