Engineer Ralph Pablo, regional director of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources- Cordillera (DENR-CAR) reports on the status of their contribution in the national regreening program, pointing that 45 percent of Cordilleras’ forest cover remains intact. Pablo also announces the various activities to mark Environment Month in June. Other DENR officials presented their respective accomplishments, programs and proposed projects in the press forum held Wednesday
(May 24) at DENR – CAR Regional Office, Baguio City.

The other panelists include Engr. Benjamin A. Ventura – OIC – Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services, Atty. Marcos E. Bias – OIC, Assistant Regional Director for Management Services, Engr. Alfredo J. Genetiano – Chief Mine Management Division, Ma. Victoria V. Abrera Regional Director for Environmental Management Bureau, and Helen A. Maddumba – Center Head, Watershed and Water Resources Research Development Extension Center.The activity was
hosted by Philippine Information Agency-CAR, and presented by the Cordillera Association of Regional Executives (CARE).
