LA TRINIDAD 74TH FOUNDATION DAY, ASEC LIM AND LOCAL COOPERATIVES JOIN CELEBRATION

La Trinidad, a town rich in history and community spirit, commemorated its 74th anniversary with a series of events that highlighted both its historical significance and its vision for the future. The theme of this year’s foundation day celebration is “Recognizing our Roots, Building a Resilient Future,” emphasizing the importance of acknowledging the past while striving towards a sustainable future. CDA – Asec Santiago S. Lim, the guest speaker of the event, delivered a thoughtful speech praising La Trinidad’s resilience and the critical role local cooperatives play in the
community’s economic vitality.

Lim emphasized the cooperative pledge, highlighting the part of the pledge that says, “alone I am weak, but with others I am strong.” The celebration was also participated in by the local cooperatives in the civic parade demonstrating their commitment and willingness to be involved in La Trinidad’s development.
