La Trinidad officials led by Mayor Romeo Salda and League of Associations at the La Trinidad Trading Post led by President Nora Ganase sent off more than five tons of assorted Benguet vegetables, non-food items and cash that was used to buy at least 28 cavans of rice which were donated to the disaster affected province of Apayao last week.
The donation came from the outreach drive within their organization to provide support to the people of Apayao who were recently affected by continuous rains causing massive floods and landslides and typhoons Ramon and Sarah recently.
