Luisita Golf and Country Club posted an aggregate two-day total of 206 (102-104), a four-point advantage over Southwoods 1 202 (97-105) going into Tuesday third round in seniors FIL Championship battle in the ongoing 74th Januarius Fil-Am Golf Invitational here. Abraham ‘’Abe’ Rosal and Benjamin Sumulong bannered Luisita’s second round at Baguio Country Club (BCC) layout , scored 30 and 29 points respectively. Also scoring are Rafael ‘Chino’ Raymundo 25 and Ferdie Barbosa 20. Manila Southwoods GC 1 submitted 202 (97-105) to stay second followed by Riviera Golf collected 191 ( 96-95) for third. Forest Hills Nicklaus got 189 ( 91-100) and Summit Point 161 (74-87). Over at Camp John Hay course, Southwoods 2 tallied 227 (104-123) and wrest the lead in the AM Championship Flight over erstwhile leader Srixon IMG after it struggled with 108 points in Sunday’s second round compared its 118 first round output. Greenwater Seniors in third with 224 (112-112) and Baguio Blue for Bloods 200 (99-101) The seniors Championship Flights will have its break Monday, and it will resume its title hunt on Tuesday (Dec. 3) .
The FIL Championship will play at CJH while AM Championship will be at BCC.
