Mangan Taku

The first ever weeklong Cordillera food fair dubbed “Mangan Taku” was formally opened by the Department of Tourism in partnership with the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), Department of Agriculture and the City of Baguio led by Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan, TPB Chief Operating Officer Marie Venus Q. Tan, DA-CAR OIC Regional Director Cameron P. Odsey, DOT-CAR OIC Jovita A. Ganongan, City Councilors Lilia Farinas, Edgar Avila and Elmer Datuin with the special appearance of Presidential Communications Operations Office Asec. Anna Marie Rafael-Banaag.
The traditional cooking techniques, products and recipes of the six CAR provinces, namely Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga and Mountain Province that aim to put Cordilleran cuisine into the spotlight and boost culinary tourism in the region was held at the Rose Garden in Burnham Park on Monday, April 8, 2019.
