Massive Clean-Up of Bued River

Around 500 volunteers from different LGUs, Baguio Fire
Protection including stakeholders from Baguio City and Tuba, Benguet participated in the activity as partof the celebration of the World Wet Lands Day headed by DENR-CAR Regional Director Engr. Ralph C. Pablo and some EMB-CAR personnel. Ten teams were divided in the areas from Camp 8 to Camp 3 which resulted in collection of 6,250 kgs. equivalent to 548 sacks of solid wastes. “The Simultaneous Bued River Clean-up is very successful campaign that we should be aware all the community people in Baguio City to
help and save our river,” Pablo said.
